In Kathleen VanHyfte’s own words: “We moved to Los Osos from Iowa in March of 2014, we love the climate and the people. It is such a lovely mix of beauty that surrounds us and it does inspire me. I am an acrylic painter and find the medium allows me to have the most fun and creativity.
I am a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BFA in studio art. My work has been shown in many juried exhibits across the country. I am finding a new path here in the Central Coast.”
