Artist Statement:
The Cayucos Art Association is committed to support art education at all levels and to encourage appreciation of the role of art in our lives and its importance to our society. It was founded in 1989 by artists living in Cayucos who recognized the artistic and creative potential of the area and envisioned a community center for creativity. The gallery provides a venue for artists in Cayucos to display their work and to gain knowledge and experience in this important role of the artist and opens a window for the community to view live art.
